48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying (A)the word of [a]the [b]Lord, and as many as (B)had been appointed to eternal life believed. 49 And (C)the word of the [c]Lord was being spread through the whole region. 50 But (D)the Jews incited the [d](E)God-fearing women (F)of prominence and the leading men of the city, and instigated a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their [e]district.
